Have you heard the news? Creed III is in production. Michael B. Jordan is leading this franchise in all facets. When Creed premiered back in 2015, I was high on the storyline. We got introduced to the back story of Apollo Creed's Adonis. Maybe I'm stuck in the nostalgia of the Rocky movie franchise, sure. But Creed brought a different perspective, Adonis is a kid following his father's footsteps in the boxing world, but he lacked the tutelage of a preeminent coach. Still, he pursued his desire to be a great fighter working through life's hurdles while taking his lumps in the squared circle. If you haven't seen Creed yet, check it out.
For Creed III, there is a lot to be excited about, Michael B Jordan will not only be the star of the film, but he's making his directorial debut. It's something that we've anticipated for a while. Creed is a spin-off from the Rocky Movie series. Sylvester Stalone (Rocky) decided it was time to relinquish the keys to the kingdom, allowing the Creed franchise to chart their path. It's eerily similar to when a boxer leaves their home gym searching for greater results. All of this makes for more excitement and anticipation.
November 23, 2022, is the expected theatre release date for Creed III.
